Where can I ride an Electric Bike ?
Electric Bike is just the same as normal Bike, you can ride it on cycle paths and anywhere else pedal bikes are allowed under GB law and the law states you must be over 14 years of age to ride an e-bike. 16years is the minimum age to ride a moped in the UK but this is reduced to 14 years for electric bikes taking into account their lower levels of power.

How Long Charged E-Bike Battery Last?
It depends on the type of bike, the battery capacity and how you use it.
How to extend the lifespan of your e-bike battery
Fully charge the battery before your first ride.
Only use the charger that comes with your battery.
Unplug the charger when the charge is complete, and when you’re not using it.
Charge the battery regularly, and don’t allow it to stay stuck on low power for too long.
Try to avoid regularly discharging the battery completely.
If you’re not using the battery for long periods, charge it once a month while it’s in storage.
Do I need a License to ride an Electric bike?
You do not need a licence to ride an Electric Bike and it does not need to be registered, taxed or insured.
How Do Electric Bikes Work?
An Electric Bike is a regular push pedal bike with extra components that work together to allow it to operate; an electric motor, the battery and the sensor.
Are Electric Bike heavier than normal bikes?
An electric bike is heavier because it needs to have a motor , battery and all the control system. These will always make it heavier than a standard bike. In addition, it’s likely to be built more substantially, with more robust components than a standard bike, to handle the extra power from the motor.
How Long does it take to charge the battery?
Most electric bike batteries will fully charge from empty in 3 to 6 hours depending on the battery size.
